West Norwood Pre-loved Clothes Swap

Sunday 1st December

The Great North Wood, West Norwood

Swap don’t shop!

Join us for a monthly clothes swap event running alongside West Norwood Feast.

This time we will also be accepting children’s clothes and toys, so the perfect opportunity to do your Christmas shopping without spending a penny!

Children attending the event must be accompanied and supervised at all times. There will be additional space downstairs in the pub for pushchairs, but it may be busy, so we cannot guarantee space.

Items to exchange should be clean, in a good condition, no marks or holes; please bring clothes in the condition in which you would like to receive them.

We can only accept the following: tops, trousers, shorts, skirts, dresses, jumpsuits, coats, jackets, jumpers, cardigans, activewear, suits, hats and shoes. No underwear, socks or swimwear. The number of items which can be donated by each individual is limited to 10.

We will also accept school uniform items in good condition.

Toys, Books and Boardgames

We cannot accept toys or games with batteries or electronic elements. We can’t accept dirty or broken toys or toys with sharp edges. We ask that you wash soft toys in particular before donation, unless they’re brand new. We also can’t accept incomplete toys, like sets of board games or puzzles with missing pieces.

The number of toys which can be donated is limited to 5.

Items which are not collected will be donated to charity.

There is the option to buy a £3 ticket to support the running of the event, which is greatly appreciated.

The space is generously donated by The Great North Wood. Please support the pub by buying food and drinks on the day.

*Ticket holders are those who have donated items in the morning

Swap don’t shop!

We want to encourage giving old clothes a new life, but want to keep the process simple. While many people love selling online through Ebay, Vinted, Depop and more, for others it can be a difficult and time consuming process. We are here to remove the hurdles, and offer a monthly event where you can drop off your pre-loved clothes, enjoy browsing the market stalls at West Norwood Feast, and then return in the afternoon to do for unlimited shopping!

Bring your friends and family and enjoy a day of shopping, guilt free.
We run this event for free, to make it accessible, but really appreciate the support of attendees who pay £3 for a ticket, as this helps to cover the costs of managing the event and storing the rails and clothes.
